Frequently asked questions

Straight answers, no fine print.

What is EyeTradary?

EyeTradary is a Windows desktop app for traders, based on a Trading Dashboard spreadsheet. It gives you five lists — Opportunity (HTF), Low Time Frames (LTF), Favorite Stocks, Entered Data and Strategies — plus a Reports page and backups, in an app instead of a spreadsheet. Your data still lives in a Google Sheet that you own.

Is my data safe? Where is it stored?

Your trading data is stored in a spreadsheet named “EyeTradary” in your own Google Drive. You own that sheet — you can open it, export it or delete it at any time. The app never reads, lists or changes your other Drive files, and it never touches anyone else’s sheet. Your Google sign-in tokens are stored on your own Windows PC, encrypted with Windows DPAPI, and are never sent to anyone except Google’s own servers. Subscription records on our licence server hold only your Google user id and email, the plan name, the Razorpay subscription id and its status — never card numbers, bank details or passwords. There are no advertising trackers and no analytics SDKs in the app. See the Privacy Policy Sign in for the full details.

What happens after my trial ends?

The 30-day free trial is available once. When it ends, the app will ask you to choose a paid plan to keep using it. Your data stays in your own Google Sheet either way — ending the trial does not delete your sheet.

How do I cancel?

Cancel from the Subscription page inside the app. After you cancel, no new charges are made. Changing plans works the same way — changing plans automatically cancels the old autopay.

Does it work without Google sign-in?

Partly. You can explore the app in demo mode without signing in. But Google sign-in is required for the real thing: saving your own lists and syncing them to a Google Sheet, backups tied to your data, and the trial and subscription features. Sheet sync does not work without sign-in.

Which Windows versions does it run on?

Windows 10 and Windows 11, on a desktop PC.

How do updates work?

When a new version is available, the app shows a notice at the top with the version number and notes, and a download button. You can dismiss the notice for that version, and the next newer version will notify you again. You can also check for updates by hand from Settings → About.

How do payments work?

Paid plans are billed through Razorpay subscriptions. You authorise autopay (a mandate) once, and Razorpay charges the plan amount automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. Your card and bank details go to Razorpay, never to us. Plans are Monthly ₹69, 6 months ₹393.30 and Yearly ₹745.20. See Pricing.

Can I back up my data?

Yes. Download a backup any time in Excel (full), CSV (full, three sections) or JSON format. In Google mode, the app also saves an automatic Excel backup to your Downloads folder once a week. One honest note: a backup covers your lists; some app-only details, such as strategies and entered profit-and-loss records, are not part of a backup.
